wow. two years later and our paths cross once again. well, i guess it wasn't so much coincidental seeing as i purposely went to your blog. But, regardless, hello there!
Did you ever catch that 1970s Japanese-made re-enactment of Chinese folktales (ever so funkily dubbed into English) MONKEY MAGIC..? It's absolute classic... UK only (+ Japan of course)... I'm afraid...
I looooove Monkey Magic. I have the whole serious on DVD. It was never quite the same after they replaced Pigsy though.
I just finished making a doco about a Brit whose dad's mates where the crew who did the english dubs for MM. Which is so cool. I should try and meet those guys one day... they'd be pretty old now though.
As to your other question. I'm from Australia and my main blog is the Get Films one. Monkey is from Maine and his main blog is now defunct... Not Monkey though, he's not defunct, he's making public access TV in the States.

You are too too kind.
Oh my! This is so exciting.
I've been very busy, taking care of the boy. I've been SWIMMING this summer of all things... I do worry so about my fur.
Ahem.
Hugs and Bugs,
Monkey
Hey!
I've been busy huffing glue, starting a pyramid scheme and screwing Mrs. Johnson.
She's going to die any day.
Any time you want it back you just let me know Monkey.
I'm just the care-taker.
Simian squeezings to you too!!
Zoner, Mrs Johnson told me I was the only one...
I miss your matted, furry little head.
In other news, I have sand in my hoo hah.

Hey man! Im hammered! WOOOO fuckina.
I've been looking for a giant canvas bag where I can be carried all around town.
^ What is up with that bitch?
I wish I could live in my ass.
My ass would be warm in the winter and breezy in the summer.
If I lived inside my ass I would paint it green by eating a bunch of sour apple now & laters.
It's nice to just have a referral link to one of my favourite blog characters of all time.
And the Squidinites said, AMEN!"
Well done brother.
The memory should not be tarnished in that way.
Monkey was/is brilliant.
lol
What?! What happened to Monkey?!
I've been gone from the blogosphere for a scant trey months, and everything vanishes!
Is this a house of cards, or a carded house?!
Sometimes I feel like the load-bearing card in a house of cards.
We love you poopsie!!
